She has been making steady progress in South cinema over the past few years with her small but significant part in Chandramukhi garnering good appreciation. This year, both her Telugu films Adurs and Simha did well at the box-office. She now has only 3 films - Boss Engira Bhaskaran (Tamil), Super (Kannada) and Electra (Malayalam) - at hand and has no plans of signing any new films. Recently, she even refused the Kannada film Jogayya, which happens to be Shivrajkumar's 100th film. But sources close to her state that she wants to do quality films before she retires.
